Simple Mudras for Good Health

Mudra is a gesture or position , usually of the hands used in Yoga, that locks and guides energy flow and reflexes to the brain. By curling, crossing, stretching and touching the fingers and hands, we can talk to the body and mind as each area of the hand reflexes to a certain part of the mind or body.

Here are simple Mudras to provide good health. Each one focuses on specific part of the body.  Practice this Mudra's at least 3 to 5 min every day for lifetime. Both hands have been put closer for Illustration,but in practice no need to put your hands closer.

Note: Some Mudras requires some precautions, please consult a Qualified Yoga Teacher before you begin a regular practice.


1. Bhairava Mudra – This mudra used during meditation to help the union of the individual with supreme consciousness.


Note: Men should keep right hand on the top of left hand, Female should keep left hand on the top of right hand (then it is called Bhariavi Mudra)


2. Chin Mudra – It Increases memory power and sharpens the brain, and enhances concentration and prevents Insomnia
    


This Mudra is generally used during meditation as well.


3. Chinmaya Mudra - It opens the middle lobes of the lungs. Prana which moves from left to right in the abdominal  region and helps for better digestion.


 


4. Adi Mudra – It helps balancing and healing the sense organs. It also helps to deduce snoring
                      

5. Merudanda Mudra - Enhance the awareness experience as the breath is directed to various parts of the body. It directs the Prana in spine



6. Akash Mudra – For Ear Problem

7. Dhyan Mudra - For Concentration power, Free from Depression, and for Mind related problems

9. Jal Mudra : This is for Blood purifier and all skin diseases

10. Ling Mudra: Reduces Headache, Fever

11. Pachan Mudra: Do only after taking food. It is for Digestive system.
